Woodshed Jazz and Blues

Woodshed is a series of photographs which try to capture the visual and emotional experience of a live jazz performance. I have always enjoyed listening to this music. These photographs are the attempt to honor the music and the musicians. The term woodshed is used to describe the amount of time a musician must devote to his craft. In other words he has to be willing to spend countless hours practicing, refining and defining his musical style. When this is has been accomplished he can come out and play.
